From the makers of Curious George – meet The Learning Company’s “Little Books” app series

For over 30 years, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s The Learning Company® has engaged learners young and old with entertaining, educational games and books. The publishing house has produced such classics as Carmen Sandiego™, Oregon Trail®, and Curious George®.

Most recently, The Learning Company published The Little Box board book series – the perfect starter set for young readers. All the books are written by Russell Ginns, a game expert renowned for his work on “Sesame Street,” “Hooked on Phonics” and—most recently—several successful app games produced by Big Yellow Taxi Inc.

Adjusting their approach to fit our increasingly digital world, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt decided to bring The Little Box series to their audience in the most engaging way possible: interactive apps. And they found a natural partner in TinyTap, the premiere educational game creation platform. Designed with the same graphics and text as the books, each Little Book app gives the player a fun job to do – whether it’s to say words, find pictures, or guess what’s coming next!
