Here are a few online tools, that will surely take your TinyTap games to the next level.

 

 

Layout

Including attractive images and cool sounds into your game is a good start but you can also use a more creative page layout to make it look sharp.

Canva

Canva is a free platform that allows you to create a great layout to complement your TinyTap activity with little to no design skills. Just drag-and-drop from a library of more than 1 million stock photos, graphic elements and fonts or upload your own images, and even connect and use your social media photos.

 

As long as you use the free photos and images you can download and use your layout image anywhere. Attribution is not required, just don’t redistribute or sell the images on other stock photo or wallpaper platforms.

Using Microsoft PowerPoint, you can easily make engaging and well designed layouts.

We are all very visual creatures. High quality visuals are necessary to allow our audience to quickly parse and process a cover page or slide. Especially when our target audience doesn’t know how to read yet.

All photos published on Unsplash can be used for free. You can use them for commercial and noncommercial purposes. You do not need to ask permission from or provide credit to the photographer or Unsplash, although it is appreciated.

You can also create GIFs from your own videos or from videos you find online.

A little bird told me that the next TinyTap version will allow creators to upload sound bites,
so you better get ready and start exploring all the cool sound effects out there.

Although not the prettiest site, It’s simple to search for any sound via the search bar. Browse through Almost 400,000 high quality sound effects, with more added every day.

 

All sounds are absolutely free and account set up is quick and easy.

Sound effects can be listed under 3 different licenses:
1. Zero – free commercial and non-commercial use.
2. Attribution – free commercial use, but attribution is required.

Good color combinations can attract attention and make your TinyTap activities come alive.

Adobe Color allows you to explore other people’s color schemes, create your own color schemes using the color wheel, or make a scheme from an uploaded image and more.
When you’re happy with the color scheme, simply copy and paste the Hex code into the color settings form in your creation platform (canva, photoshop, ppt).
